When Halloween arrives, even the Convent of Our Lady of Quietude is transformed.
Flickering candles, lanterns, pumpkins, autumn leaves, and decorations made with more enthusiasm than budget fill the convent’s corners. Moonlight slips through the stone arches, while shadows dance across the walls and the gardens hide little mysteries.
Join us for a nighttime stroll through the convent’s rooms and grounds, specially decorated for the occasion.
🏰 The Convent Exterior
Under the full moon, the convent looks mysterious yet inviting. The glowing windows welcome visitors inside, although no one can guarantee what they might find in there…
🌳 The Gardens
Among old trees, leaf-covered paths, and glowing lanterns, the gardens take on a touch of magic. And perhaps one of the pumpkins is hiding more than it seems…
🕯️ The Cloister
Stone arches, nighttime shadows, and the flickering glow of candles make the cloister the perfect place for a Halloween stroll. Just make sure you don’t run into anyone unexpected, of course.
🍲 The Kitchen
Pots, old utensils, aromatic herbs, and pumpkins share the space with the night’s preparations. In this convent, however, no one should assume they know what’s simmering over the fire.
🍆 The Pantry
Among baskets, jars, garlic, onions, and all kinds of provisions, the pantry has dressed up for Halloween, too. Some of the supplies look more suspicious than others…
🛁 The Thermal Baths
By candlelight, steam rises gently through the ancient thermal baths. A peaceful place to relax after all the activity… as long as the nuns don’t bring along one of their usual schemes.

This is our convent at Halloween: old-fashioned, welcoming, a little mysterious, and, as always, vulnerable to all kinds of absurd mishaps.
