The Night Keeper of the Magic Forest Paths
When the Magic Forest falls asleep, Eldred begins his work.
With his enormous hood, a small ladder, and a box full of tools, he travels along the forest paths, repairing and tending the little lights that appear among the branches and roots.
They are not ordinary lanterns. They are tiny glowing seeds, mushrooms, and other living things that shine softly when night falls.
Eldred knows every one of them.
And he knows the paths, too.
All of them.
When a light goes out, he knows.
When a branch falls across a trail, he knows.
And when some creature gets lost during the night…
Eldred is already there. 🌙🦊
Most of the inhabitants of the Magic Forest are asleep while he works.
And Eldred doesn’t mind.
In fact, he probably prefers it that way.
Because while everyone else rests, someone has to keep the paths lit. 🍄🌙
