Controversy Over Lord Cassanovus Nappius’ Portrait
The controversy surrounding the new official portrait of Lord Cassanovus Nappius continues. The portrait was unveiled this week in the castle’s Tea Hall.
Sources from the Provincial Council are studying whether milord’s profile can be considered cross-border infrastructure, as early reports suggest that the projection of his noble nose could visually reach the castle of his relative in Northern Catalonia.
The Ministry of Culture, meanwhile, has issued a brief but decisive statement:
“Moving the portrait has been ruled out.”
“Moving the castle would be easier.”
The painter of the work, visibly exhausted, has only agreed to make one statement:
“When I accepted the commission, I was told it was a half-length portrait.”
“They failed to specify… which half.”
Lord Cassanovus Nappius has chosen not to fuel the controversy.
Before leaving the hall, he simply stated:
