Room 1 — The Origins

A group of schoolchildren enters in a neat line.
The guide speaks very quietly.
“Here you have the famous Original Blog.”
The children move closer.
Behind a glass case there is a slightly crumpled sheet of paper.
It reads:
⚠️ Do not nibble on historical heritage.
🍄 Cinnamon.
🥒 Happy Cucumber.
📂 Gregorius needs a vacation.
✨ Buy glue.
One child raises a hand.
“Excuse me… what does ‘buy glue’ mean?”
The guide smiles.
“Historians are still debating it.”
Another child asks:
“And who was the Grand Custodian of Stardust?”
The guide points to a very old portrait.
It shows a woman sitting at a table covered with jars, papers, moss and candles.
She is smiling.
She has a cup in her hand.
And she looks as if she is about to burst out laughing.
Beneath the portrait there is a plaque.
MONTSE
She proved that an entire universe could be built with a little cinnamon, a notebook, and a completely irresponsible amount of imagination.
And beside it…
another, smaller plaque.
Almost hidden.
“She never did manage to stop opening Words.”
Then a little boy tugs at his grandfather’s sleeve.
And asks:
“Grandpa… did this really happen?”
The grandfather keeps looking at the door to the Ancient Archives.
The same door.
With the same moss.
With the same bronze plaque.
And he answers very quietly:
“I don’t know.”
He pauses.
Smiles.
And adds:
“But there are stories that, even though they’re made up, somehow end up being more true than many real things.”
And at that very moment…
from the last bookshelf in the museum…
a very familiar voice can be heard:
“…HEY! WHO OPENED ANOTHER WORD????”
👴 GREGORIUS VIII
And the entire museum bursts out laughing.
For reasons that need not be specified.
