In Nælun, even the animals that seem familiar to us appear to belong to another world.
The vælir walks among the enormous violet trees and strange plants surrounding the coral-coloured waters.
It resembles a deer, but its dark body and great antlers make it a creature entirely its own, born of Nælun.
It approaches the water without hurry.
It drinks.
And for a few moments, the forest, the trees, and the vælir are reflected together on the surface of the lake.
In Nælun, perhaps not everything needs a name we can understand.
Some things simply exist. 🌌🦌💜
