There are moments in life when you simply have to recognize greatness when you see it.
And on that day, in The Attic, four little half-goblins reached a momentous conclusion:
the cucumber deserves an ode.
Baldric Barrelbreaker, Fulgentius Potbasher, Roderick Messington and Genis Bottomgrabber gathered around the honorable vegetable, properly crowned and placed upon a velvet cushion.
They raised their mugs.
They took a deep breath.
And they began to sing.
🎶 “Ooooooh, cucumber!
Lord of the garden!
Guardian of the salad!
King of freshness!” 🎶
Nobody knows exactly how the song continued.
Probably because, by that point, the four of them were feeling rather cheerful.
The cucumber, however, maintained its dignity throughout.
And that is what matters.
